Two Weeks Old

We can't believe it's already been two weeks since this little chick joined our family! At two weeks Holden is sleeping 4-6 hours and eating like a champ. She is finally starting to warm up to bathtime and definitely LOVES her paci! She is seriously the best, most relaxed, calm, cuddly baby! We are so blessed.

At her two week check up her stats were:

Weight: 7.1 pounds 18.55%
Length: 21.75 inches 79.89 %
Head: 13.77 inches 48.15%
Tall and skinny girl!

One Week Old

I can't believe this baby girl is already a week old! And on her due date no less!
Holden, we absolutely adore you!

A Shower for Holden

On my last day of work the SUPER SWEET ladies at my office decided to throw me a little baby shower for Holden! It was beyond thoughtful and we had such a fun time. They did it over the lunch hour and had yummy Paradise Bakery cater lunch and for dessert there was the most divine red velvet bundt cake from Nothing Bundt Cakes! It was a lovely way to spend my last day and I so appreciate the thoughtfulness that went into this celebration for sweet baby girl! They definitely spoiled her!

Valentines Day

Valentines Day was pretty low key for us this year. Because it landed on a weeknight we decided it would be more appropriate to just stay home. Sean brought home a yummy heart shaped pizza from Papa Murphy's and we just enjoyed some time together as a family. Hattie opened her Valentine's mailbox to find some fun prizes inside! Earlier in the day Hattie and I delivered Valentines to some of her friends and pictures to her Grandparents. I saw the idea on Pinterest and thought our version turned out pretty cute. Hattie always LOVES making hand and foot prints :) The Mr. of course went above and beyond and bought me the most BEAUTIFUL jewelry armoire! I have asked for one for Christmas at least 3 years now and it was such a wonderful surprise!

38 weeks

Pregnancy Highlights:
How far Along: 38 Weeks and lucky for me there will be no more pregnancy posts! Wohoo! :)
Size of baby: Size of a Leek
Total Weight Gain/Loss: + 24 lbs
Maternity clothes: Not this time around
Gender: It's a GIRL! Holden Claire Pack
Movement: She is still very active but she definitely doesn't have any more room
Sleep: I've not been sleeping as well the last few weeks. I think it must be my body preparing me for many sleepless nights ahead :)

What I miss: Exercising
Cravings: Anything food. I eat anything and everything, ha!
Symptoms: Nothing new really. Just the usual heartburn.
Best moment this week: Scheduling an induction date! Holden will be here February 27! Two more days! I can't wait to meet this little girl--seriously SO EXCITED!!!

A Bedroom for Two

I finally got around to making the finishing touches on the girls bedroom. Lucky for us we pretty much had everything girl from Hattie's nursery and the only big purchases made were a big girl bed (which still has yet to be slept in...ha!) and the Expedit bookcase. I bought a few little things here and there and made the letters that hang above Holden's crib but other than that I just moved stuff around. I can only imagine if we were had been having a boy--oh man! Things definitely would have been a lot more stressful (and a lot less PINK!) around the Pack household :)

LOVE the Expedit bookcase in the closet! It gave us so much more storage space!

No, unfortunately there really is nowhere else to put momma's shoes...

I still LOVE the AMAZING job Mr. Pack did on the crib! He spent countless hours refinishing it!

The bedding / curtains were sewn by my mom when I was pregnant with Hattie and they are even more beautiful in person.
