What's in a name?

Well I'll be 13 weeks along tomorrow and I am finally starting to feel better! I couldn't be happier about that. Along with that, we get to find out what we're having in only 3 weeks! We can't wait!!! Sean is certain it's a boy and I'm certain it's a girl so I guess we don't have to argue too much longer about the sex of our little baby. With this big event being right around the corner we've been talking A LOT about names. Names are so hard! This is something that our child will be stuck with for the rest of their life and we both want to make sure that the name suits them perfectly. Sean even thinks that initials are critical to having a good name, something Ive never really taken into consideration. It's so funny to see the reactions of friends and family when we tell them some of the names we are thinking of. Some people love them and others hate them and at the end of the day I've decided that you are never going to be able to please everyone. So with the time drawing near for us to name our little one--yes our child will have a name before it's born--stay tuned to see what we are having and what AmAzInG name we've decided on!

We're moving!

We are excited to announce that we will be moving! No, we are not moving very far (only a few miles) but it will be a much needed change. We are moving into our friends Houston and Cristina's townhome as they sadly are leaving Utah to go back to the great state of Texas. We will miss you guys and wish you the best of luck! As sad as it is to see them go we can't wait for a bigger place. A place that has a dishwasher, actual counter space, more than one bathroom, bigger closets, bigger bedrooms and sooooo much more! We are also glad to be closer to our families--Shane, Shara and the girls will be right across the street! Yay! So as we are grateful to have had the experience of living in our cute little first place where we started our lives together we cannot wait to move!

It's been a while...

Hey! Sorry we have been such terrible bloggers lately. We have been crazy busy after the wedding and to be honest the blog sort of fell by the wayside. But we are alive and well and wanted to share some of whats been going on with us lately.

1. We got MARRIED!!! Wahoo! It was the happiest day of our lives and we promise to post some more pictures soon.

2. We went on a honeymoon! We started out at the Zermatt in Midway, UT and then from there we went to Vegas, Disneyland, San Diego and then Seal Beach! We were gone one week and had an absolutely wonderful time.

3. We celebrated Christmas. It was so much fun to spend time with both of our families. This year was especially fun because we were able to spend it with Shane, Shara and Kaylee. Kaylee was AdOrAblE and so overwhelmed with all of the Mermee (The little Mermaid) presents Santa brought her. It was the cutest thing ever to watch her open all of her gifts.

4. We celebrated the New Year just the two of us hanging out and watching movies. It was so nice to spend some quality time together just vegging.

5. We have a brand new niece! Shane and Shara welcomed Kennady Lynn on January 4. She is a beautiful little girl and we are so happy to have her in the family.

So that is what has been going on with us lately. Here are a few pictures for y'all to enjoy!

**Most of these are from Sean's phone so sorry there aren't a ton...

Wedding.. T-Minus 16 Days.

So today is the 20th of freaking November, and that means that I... errrrr WE are getting married in 16 DAYS. Holy mother-of-pearl, this is getting crazy. Alexa is meeting with the wedding planner as we speak, while I am upstairs playing on facebook or checking out steep and cheap... ya know, the REALLY important things pertaining to the wedding. But the plans are rockin, and my beautiful bride is doing such an amazing job of handling all the stresses of the wedding. As for myself, I am just plain excited. Oh, and before I go on, I am sorry it has been so long between posts, here is a shout out to all our followers on this blessed website. Hey Followers. Anyway, back to the present, a lot has been going on with us lately and here is the shortened update. Alexa works a lot. She is surviving at Directpointe and I try to match her work schedule with my own. Constantly making calls and setting appointments trying to sell people insurance has its ups and downs, but I am really throwing all my effort into it and starting to see some success. But back to the wedding, we are starting to receive gifts via mail and such and its like Christmas everyday... ummm awesome? We are so blessed to have such amazing friends and family that are so generous and giving. But either way, presents are cool... the only issue, which consequently leads into my next blogging topic is where to put them...? Oh wait I know the answer, how about our new place? yay! We found a small basement apartment in Springville to rent a few weeks back that will love having Prada (yes, our Yorkie is named Prada) around. It will be so nice to finally be out from the parents' houses and establish our life together. Being about 15 minutes from Provo will allow that much needed separation and we are stoked. The place is tiny however. Alexa just took me over to Downeast Home to show me a kitchen table she really liked and I will post a picture of it. This was my exact thought, is this a little kids table for imaginary tea and crumpets? I am sorry babe, and I appreciate you trying to find something for our needs :) anyway, enjoy the picture. But the moral of the story is that we are elated to be married, and I love my soon to be wife (Pictured Below)
